Birch trees are pioneers- they take root and quickly reach toward the light. Our Birch children are the same. They are wanderers, explorers, and innovators, stretching beyond the familar and building confidence in their own capabilities. 

This program serves as a bridge between Walnut and Cedar. 

Children deepen friendships, strengthen their connection to the Earth, and begin expanding their endurance for longer hikes. 

They start developing foundational safety skills around tools, broaden their knowledge of plants, animals, insects, and fungi, and grow in independence & responsibility.

In Birch, imagination and storytelling weave naturally with practical skills, sensory-rich exploration, and hands-on bushcraft experiences. 

This group is ideal for independent children who have the stamina and excitement for a four-hour nature school day and are ready to take the next step in their woodland journey.
